ചെന്നൈയിലെ ചെപ്പോക്കില്‍ നടന്ന പോരാട്ടത്തില്‍ രാജസ്ഥാന് വിജയം. അവസാന പന്ത് വരെ ആവേശം നീണ്ടു നിന്ന മത്സരത്തില്‍ 3 റണ്‍സിനായിരുന്നു ചെന്നൈക്കെതിരെ രാജസ്ഥാന്‍റെ വിജയം. അവസാന പന്തില്‍ 5 റണ്‍ വേണമെന്നിരിക്കെ ധോണിക്ക് സിംഗിള്‍ മാത്രം നേടാനാണ് സാധിച്ചത്.
എന്നാല്‍ മത്സരത്തിനു പിന്നാലെ രാജസ്ഥാന് റോയല്‍സിനു പിഴ ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ് ഐപിഎല്‍ ഗവേണിങ്ങ് കൗണ്‍സില്‍. സ്ലോ ഓവര്‍ നിരക്ക് കാരണം 12 ലക്ഷം രൂപയാണ് സഞ്ചു സാംസണ്‍ നല്‍കേണ്ടി വരിക. സീസണില്‍ ഇനിയും സ്ലോ ഓവര്‍ നിരക്ക് തുടരുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ വിലക്ക് ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ലഭിക്കും.
അശ്വിന്‍റെ ഓള്‍ റൗണ്ട് ( 30 റണ്‍സും, 2 വിക്കറ്റും) പോരാട്ടവും ബട്ട്ലറുടെ (52) അര്‍ധസെഞ്ചുറിയുമാണ് രാജസ്ഥാന്‍റെ വിജയത്തില്‍ നിര്‍ണായകമായത്. വിജയത്തോടെ സഞ്ചുവിന്‍റെ ടീം പോയിന്‍റ് പട്ടികയില്‍ ഒന്നാമത് എത്തി. ഞായറാഴ്ച്ച ഗുജറാത്തിനെതിരെയാണ് അടുത്ത മത്സരം.
4.2.1 for the first offence as Captain of the bowling Team in a Season, the Captain of the
bowling Team will be fined Rs. 12 lakh;
4.2.2 for the second offence in a Season as Captain of the bowling Team then the Captain will
be fined Rs. 24 lakhs;
4.2.3 for the second offence by the Team in a Season, each member of the playing XI in the
Team for the relevant Match (excluding the Captain) will be fined the lesser of (a) Rs. 6
lakh and (b) 25% of his Match Fee;
4.2.4 for the third and each subsequent offence in a Season as Captain of the bowling Team,
the Captain will be fined Rs. 30 lakh and banned from playing in the Team’s next League
Match;
4.2.5 for the third and each subsequent offence in a Season by the Team each member of the
playing XI in the Team for the relevant Match (excluding the Captain) will be fined the
lesser of (a) Rs. 12 lakh and (b) 50% of his Match Fee;
4.2.6 in the event that a Captain, having being found guilty of one or more offences under this
Article 4.2 of this Appendix 2 during the Season, relinquishes the captaincy but remains
in the playing XI, he will (unless BCCI has in writing confirmed the change of captaincy)
continue to receive sanctions as per Articles 4.2.2 and 4.2.4 (as relevant) and not as per
Articles 4.2.3 and 4.2.5.
