മത്സരത്തില്‍ രണ്ട് തവണ ക്രുണാല്‍ പാണ്ട്യ ബോള്‍ എറിയാതെ ധവാനെ നിരീക്ഷിച്ചു. ചെന്നൈയും രാജസ്ഥാനും തമ്മിലുള്ള മത്സരത്തിനിടെ മുസ്തഫിസര്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍റെ ബൗളിങ്ങിനിടെ ചെന്നൈ താരം ബ്രാവോ ക്രീസ് വിട്ടിറങ്ങിയത് ഏറെ ചര്‍ച്ചക്ക് വഴിയൊരുക്കിയിരുന്നു.
ക്രിക്കറ്റ് നിയമ പ്രകാരം മങ്കാദിങ്ങ് പുറത്താക്കലിനു മുന്‍പ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കേണ്ട ആവശ്യമില്ലാ. മത്സരത്തില്‍ ശിഖാര്‍ ധവാനാണ് ഡല്‍ഹി ക്യാപിറ്റല്‍സ് ഇന്നിംഗ്സ് നയിച്ചു.42 പന്തില്‍ 45 റണ്‍സാണ് ധവാന്‍ നേടി പുറത്തായി.
41.16 Non-striker leaving his ground early – If the non-striker is out of his ground at any time from the moment the ball comes into play until the instant when the bowler would normally have been expected to release the ball, the non-striker is liable to be Run out.
